Kiaora whanau, My name is Emma Jackson and I am one of your child’s teachers. I am a mum of four, three teenage girls and one son who is primary school age. As a mother I understand how precious your tamariki are and I strive to learn all about them and their whanau so that I can help each individual child to explore and learning ways that are meaningful for them. I gained my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018 and am passionate about developing loving, respectful, reciprocal relationships with children. I value highly the importance of education for sustainability, honor and respect the Tangata Whenua through continually improving my te reo and bi-cultural practice. I also have a passion for early literacy and mathematics as I believe even very
young children are competent capable learners whose potential is limitless. I feel
blessed to be able to work alongside children and other adults who are passionate about high quality education and care.
